Early French Immersion - Squamish Area
SD48 offers Early French Immersion Programming in the Squamish area at Ecole Squamish Elementary School and Ecole Garibaldi Highlands Elementary School at Kindergarten and grade 1 entry points. Students in other grade levels may also apply to French Immersion by contacting the school principal.

Late French Immersion - Whistler and Pemberton Area
SD48 offers Late French Immersion Programming in the Pemberton and Whistler areas at Ecole Signal Hill Elementary School and Ecole Spring Creek Community School at grade 5 and 6 entry points. Students in other grade levels may also apply to French Immersion in Pemberton and Whistler by contacting the school principal.

IMPORTANT:
Early and Late French Immersion is a program of choice. Registrations will be placed on a waitlist until availability of space is confirmed at each site. As per our registration process, a lottery system is in place to ensure an equitable opportunity for all.
While on the French Immersion waitlist, students will maintain a seat at their English catchment school. When accepted to a program, the parent or guardian must fill in the French Immersion Parent Accept/Withdraw Form, confirming that they will either accept or withdraw the student's place.
