In line with the Accessible British Columbia Act, the Sea to Sky School District has established an Accessibility Advisory Working Group, commencing its work in June 2023 and continuing throughout the 2023-24 school year. The primary purpose of this committee is to offer guidance to the school district in formulating an accessibility plan. This plan aims to identify, prevent, and eliminate barriers that individuals with disabilities encounter within the school district.

At School District No.48, we want to learn about specific barriers that people face when they're trying to:
  • Access a school program, building, or school information
  • Receive a service or support
The Sea to Sky School District has developed an online feedback tool to help us understand the barriers people face when accessing a school program, building or service. You may also call our office, visit our office, mail or email us to report a barrier. Your responses to the feedback tool will be reviewed by the Sea to Sky School District Accessibility Working Group for their consideration. This information can be submitted anonymously, or you can provide your contact details at the bottom of the form if you wish to be contacted.
