On behalf of our staff, we are very excited to welcome your child to our schools and district. I hope that the information on this page is helpful for you in the registration process.

For efficiency, the school district is providing an online webform for parents and guardians to begin the registration process. This will avoid lineups for French Immersion and provide an opportunity for parents and guardians to book an appointment to visit the school to complete registration as there are some requirements in terms of documents and paper work. This webpage provides the following information:

Key registration dates and timeline;
A link to the Registration page including specific steps and instructions to begin the registration process; and,
A description of SD48 Programs, including Programs of Choice.

The principal at your child’s catchment school (the school that serves the neighborhood where you live) will be happy to help you navigate the process if you have any questions. You may also contact the School Board Office at 604-892-5228.

Key Registration Dates and Timelines for the 2024/2025 School Year:

January 15, 2024	Early French Immersion Parent Information Session. For Squamish Schools Location: Eagle Eye Community Theatre Time: 6:00 - 7:00 pm
January 16, 2024	Late French Immersion Parent Information Session. For Pemberton Schools Location: Signal Hill Elementary School Time: 6:00 - 7:00 pm
January 22, 2024	Late French Immersion Parent Information Session. For Whistler Schools Location: Spring Creek Community School Time: 5:30 - 6:30 pm
January 23, 2024	School Registration for the 2024/2025 School Year Opens.
June 28, 2024	Schools Closed for Summer.
September 3, 2024	First Day of School. This is also the deadline for in-catchment student registration for 2024-2025 school year.
