Board Meeting Minutes 2021-2022

The Board of Education’s regular public meetings are usually held on the second Wednesday of the month, at 6:00 pm at the School Board Office, 37866 2nd Avenue, Squamish, BC, unless otherwise noted.

If you would like to appear as a delegation to speak at a public Board meeting, a "Request to Appear Before the Board Form" should be submitted at least one week prior to the Board Meeting. The request can be submitted electronically to the Secretary-Treasurer’s office by fax or email, or via regular mail (see details below).

Based on the capacity of the meeting space, the Board will permit a limited number of members of the public at the 6pm Public Board meeting. The Board Committee Meetings and the Public Board Meetings will continue to be broadcast on SD48's YouTube channel. The links to the live stream will be embedded under 2022/2023 Board & Committee Meeting Agenda Packages.

Questions of Clarification from the Public

Questions of clarification can be submitted to Secretary-Treasurer, Danielle Haverstock, at the following email address: [email protected]. The Board will attempt to answer all questions during the conclusion of the evening's Public Board meeting. Please note that if a question is inappropriate (e.g. if the respectful workplace policy is not followed) or we cannot identify the asker, we will either paraphrase or decline to answer, depending on the context. 

 

Board meeting agendas will be posted the Friday before each meeting. Meeting minutes are posted following formal approval of the minutes by the Board, usually after the next regular Board meeting date.
