2025/2026 Service Plan: Learning Services

For the 2025/26 school year, the Learning Services Department will be prioritizing the following areas in addition to the regular functions handled within the department:

  • Year 2 of the Mental Health in Schools Strategic Plan
    • Focus on Connection and Belonging, Substance Use Education, and Compassionate Systems Leadership
  • Ongoing work on inclusive and anti-ableist process and policies
  • Updating the Individual Education Plan process to focus on student-centred and competency-based
  • Ongoing work with rightsholders and partners to identify and remove barriers for student success
  • Using the Collaborative Model to support Inclusive and Universally Designed spaces and practices
