What is The MyEd Parent Portal?
MyEducation BC (MyED) is the student information system used by schools in the Sea to Sky School District. It is the system used by all schools to track and report on all students in the province.
MyED offers a full array of features for families and is mobile-friendly – allowing administrators, teachers, and parents to use a computer, a smartphone, or an iPad. One of these features is the Parent (Family) Portal.
In the Parent (Family) Portal, parents/guardians with an account can View/Save/Print their student(s) Report Cards.
How Do I Access My Child's Report Card Through The MyEd Parent Portal?
- Once your account has been created, you will receive an automated message from [email protected] that will include your USERNAME and temporary PASSWORD
- You will then visit https://www.myeducation.gov.bc.ca/aspen using a desktop/laptop computer only.
- You will enter your USERNAME and a temporary PASSWORD.
- You will be prompted to change your password. ‘Current Password’ is the temporary password you were provided. Enter a ‘New Password’ and ‘Confirm New Password’ using the criteria outlined in the password requirements.
How Do I Recover My Password?
If you forget your MyEdBC Portal Password, you can click the ‘I forgot my password’ link on the log-in screen and an email will be sent to you with a new password.
How Do I View My Child's Report Card?
Every time you log into MyEd, you will see a welcome screen. Look under the Published Reports section to view your child’s report card. You can view your child’s report card by clicking here. Note the date of the upload to ensure you are looking at the current report card for this term.
