Electrical (Construction)
The Electrical Foundation Youth Train In Trades program at HSS is offered in partnership with Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU).
When in session: The Electrical Foundation program gives students the opportunity to learn a first-year apprentice's practical and theoretical skills. Students graduating from this program will receive their level 1 training credits and 350 hours towards the completion of their first-year apprenticeship program. Beginning February 6th to June 27th, 2024. Students attend school from 9 am – 3:15 pm Monday to Friday.

The course is taught by Mr. Chris Weaver, a Red Seal Electrician. There is a strict attendance policy and students are expected to arrive to class on time ready to work each and every day. Students divide their time between classroom study/instruction and shop work.
Each student is required to provide their own CSA-approved Steel-Toed boots. If you are interested in the Electrical Foundation Program
