February is Black History Month

SD48 is encouraging all students and staff to honour and reflect on the experiences and achievements of Black Canadians and their communities. This year's theme is: "February and Forever: Celebrating Black History today and every day." Pink Shirt Day-February 23, 2022

Today is #PinkShirtDay, and at School District No. 48, we wear pink to stand against bullying. Remember to be kind to one another and treat each other with respect. #LiftEachOtherUp

Implementation Day January 21st, 2022

Today for SD48’s District Implementation Day, we are engaging in an important day of learning and team-building! Similar to last year, the focus is on creating equity through a focus on Indigenous perspectives of learning through the refreshed Education Plan and School Improvement Plans. Across the district, our staff is participating in Monique Gray Smith’s online course, The Ripple Effect of Resiliency. We thank Monique Gray Smith for sharing her amazing, impactful and necessary work with us.

Black Excellence Day 2022
