Danielle Haverstock is appointed as the Secretary-Treasurer of School District No.48, effective August 26, 2021.

The school zone speed limit is set to 30 kilometres per hour and is in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on school days, according to a news release. The RCMP will be conducting school zone speed and safety checks to keep the students safe.

Due to the unavailability of school bus drivers, we are unable to run Route 5 in Squamish tomorrow (Friday, September 10, 2021), which will affect school busses servicing Don Ross, Howe Sound Secondary and Squamish Elementary. The service will resume Monday morning. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Coach Lesley Clements shared a wonderful group photo of the Whistler Secondary School Bike Team. The WSS bike team has 60 kids this year, and Coach Clements could not express enough how amazing the team was! The team is 1 ½ weeks from the end of a 6 week season, and it could not have been made possible without the help from WSS teachers Hugh Nichols, Jacob Depodesta and Layla d’Emanuele.
