2023/2024 Service Plan: Indigenous Education Department

For the 2023/24 school year, the Indigenous Education Department will be prioritizing the following areas in addition to the regular functions handled within the department:

  1. Raising of the Survivor's Flags
  2. Equity Scan Community Engagement and Action Plan
  3. Decolonizing Numeracy
  4. Ongoing Implementation of Lil'wat Local Education Agreement 
  5. Indigenous Liaison - All students in the North
  6. Elders in Residence program/policy
